Weekend here we come.

Finally the weekend will be here in about 18 hours. Seriously. You know it's bad when your sleep schedule is wrecked to the point where you can figure out everything in hours and not days. I love working midnights but man it's hard on a body. Maybe someday I'll give it up but it' gives us more time for Traci to work and time for me to hang with the H man.

Really looking forward for that next one to arrive. 5 to 6 weeks and he'll be here.

Names. Oscar is my favorite and a name that I also wanted to name my son. There has never been an Oscar Putt. That name has met some resistance, big surprise. However, we decided on some alternatives Isiah, Desmond, and Finn? Isiah is the favorite know but we'll take a look when he shoots out.

OH! For those that don't know we plan on going with a midwife home-birth. It's pretty exciting and I can't wait to catch. Next time maybe we will just do it ourselves.

Another good day...

I surely don't get to post enough but today was a fairly good day.  Had just the right balance of everything.  Henry was fun and had some good play time before my road ride.  I had an opportunity to ride late tonight with another guy that has a young son and is strapped for time as much as I am.  We left at 7:00 and got back at 8:30.  27 miles with 40% of the time we were talking.  Hopefully we can do it again in 2 weeks when I'm on day shift again.

I got a chance to check the irish stout I have brewing  downstairs and it looks like it may turn out better than expected.  I guess I'll only know by tasting and thats about 2 weeks off.

Looking forward to coming home(MI) soon and hopefully Henry is feeling better.  We will know soon if he is allergic to something or he has Celac's disease or something else.  I hoping we just find out what it is, whatever it is.

Well, Party on.

Giro d'Italia!

Wow.... I have fell in love with cycling all over again. I forgot how much I love watching this sport. I have been lucky enough to be working second shift the last couple weeks and have been able to watch in live on TV. TV with no cable even!! It's actually on Univerisal Sports Network. I love this channel and would even pay money for it.

Anyway, I have the running race coming up in June and I can't wait for it to be done some I can do some cycling again. Even though running has been going well and I'm down to 190-192lbs. Which is the lightest I've been in a long time. Skinny. I actually increased my per mile time on my runs by two minutes by just listening to my mp3 phone player. I guess I'm just bored and when I'm distracted I run better. Who knew I had ADD?

Day One

This is my first shot at blogging.  We'll see how it pans out.  A pretty busy week working midnights and I have MBA business stuff going on all week.  Spring classes will be done after that and I can relax for the summer.  I wonder if I should be working on something else.  The other part of me says I  should get my priorities together and have some fun.  I live in Idaho for Pete's sake.
